The Nursery Ministry
The Nursery Ministry serves the membership in child-care during the regular services held at St. Mark. The ages for the nursery range from six weeks to three years. The nursery is staffed with part-time employees. Volunteers are also needed to enhance the nurturing atmosphere for our children.
Children’s Ministry
Kingdom Kidz is an opportunity to provide age appropriate evangelism and discipleship of children. This ministry serves children ages four to twelve years of age. Children’s Church is held on the first, second, and fourth Sundays during the 11:30 a.m. Worship Service in the Family Life Center and on Wednesday nights during bible study.
Middle School Ministry
No Limit Middle School Ministry was developed to serve our youth who are in sixth, seventh and eighth grades, giving them an opportunity to worship with age appropriate activiites. They participate in praise and worship, "Get Your Shine On" (testimony service), and a message. Services are held Sundays and Wednesdays concurrent with adult worship services.
Teen Ministry
Powerhouse Teen Ministry is a unique approach to Sunday Worship, both at 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and Wednesday Night Bible Study for teenagers held in the Activity Center. It incorporates skits, songs, poetry and popular music styles for the Christian youth of today. It equips them for service and evangelism to the local community.
Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts provide an effective program designed to develop young people. Their areas of emphasis include building qualities of character and values. These organizations also seek to train young people to be responsible and active citizens and to develop personal fortitude and strength.
The Puppet Ministry
The Puppet Ministry uses puppets in a creative way to present biblical principles to the children of St. Mark. The original skits utilize the morals of gospel songs and biblical stories to evangelize and encourage our children.
Rites of Passage
Rites of Passage is a ministry directed specifically to address the concerns dealing with growing needs of God-directed and God-centered young men and women. The program, which runs concurrent with the local academic school year, provides for the structured teaching and development of young people from adolescence into manhood and womanhood in five distinct areas: Spiritual Growth, Social Skills, Physical Abilities, Academic Skills, and Emotional Maturity. Learners are paired with adult Guides who mentor them as they grow and develop in their Christian walk.
