GriefShare Program
Healing from a loss is not easy. It can be a life-changing, confusing and seemingly unending, painful journey, and you‘ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
St. Mark Baptist Church, 5722 W. 12thStreet, Little Rock, Arkansas, is offering help in recovering with our GriefShare Program, a very special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. Facilitated by people very well familiar with the grief journey and who truly understand what you are experiencing, we can offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
Although nondenominational, GriefShare features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics, and each session includes a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. A comforting factor, these videos also include real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours. After viewing the video, there is a group discussion about what you’ve seen. You’ll also have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences and have the opportunity to share your own.
Sessions are open to the public.
