Mission Statement: The St. Mark Athletic Ministry's Mission is to serve the body of Christ by enhancing the spiritual and physical welfare of all youth and adults through team sports, recreation, and other physical activities. This ministry will exhibit Teamwork, Sportsmanship and God's Love.
- Coed Softball - St. Mark offers Coed Softball for adults that are at least 18 years old. The softball teams play in the Little Rock Parks and Recreation league from September to November. Most games are played at Interstate Park in Little Rock unless otherwise noted.
- Youth Basketball - St. Mark offers the following basketball teams for youth: 6-8 years boys' team, 9-11 years girls' team, and 12-14 years coed team. Teams play beginning in November of each year. St. Mark All-Stars participate in various leagues that play as late as summer of the next year. Parenst must provide a birth certificate and a complete required form as well as a small fee in order for their child to participate.
- Men's Basketball - Men at least 18 years old can participate with the Men's Basketball team. The Men's team currently participates in the Keys to Life's Challenges Christian Baskteball League. A small fee is required to participate with this team.
- T-Ball - Youth ages 6-8 years that provide a valid birth certificate are allowed to participate in T-Ball. St. Mark participates in the Little Rock Parks and Recreation league.
- Football - St. Mark provides scholarships for our youth to participate in football with collaboratin with Life Champs. For more information on ages and requirements contact www.lifechamps.com.
- Volleyball - Volleyball is offerred to men and women that are at least 18 years old. The St. Mark Volleyball team participates in the Little Rock Parks and Recreation league.
- Coaching - The St. Mark All-Stars are always looking for Christian Men and Women that have a history with athletics. Coaches for Youth Basketball, T-Ball and Football as well as coaches and players for adult Softball, Basketball, and Volleyball are always needed. If you have experience with sports and would like to be considered for a coaching opportunity, contact the Outreach Pastor at 501-663-3955.
- Fitness - St. Mark provides opportunities for adults to stay physically and emotionally healthy with our Fitness Ministry. With a Certified Instructor we provide free classes twice a week. It meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Classes are held on the gym floor of the Family Life Center. Each participant is asked to maintain a journal that tracks weight goals as well as eating habits.
